Cell C Holdings

Cell C Holdings has announced the constitution of a new Investment and Special Transactions Committee, effective 1 May 2026. Chaired by Godfrey Motsa, the committee includes Sindi Zilwa, Jerry Vilakazi, and Joe Mthimunye.

Its primary mandate is to review and approve material capital allocation proposals, acquisitions, and investments that significantly impact the company’s capital structure and long-term shareholder value.

OUTsurance Group is preparing for a transition in its financial leadership following the resignation of group CFO and financial director Jan Hofmeyr, who is leaving to join a new fintech venture. Hofmeyr, who served the group for 18 years, will remain until 2 October 2026 to oversee the financial year-end process.

He will be succeeded on 3 October by Francois van Rooyen, currently the CFO of OUTsurance South Africa, subject to regulatory approval.

Labat Africa issued a correction announcement confirming new leadership for its key governance roles as of 20 April 2026. In memoriam: Naspers mourns Steve Pacak

Finally, Naspers Limited announced with “great sadness” the passing of non-executive director Steve Pacak. Pacak’s career with the group spanned nearly four decades, including a tenure as financial director until 2014. Naspers chair Koos Bekker described him as a “key mover” in the group’s development, citing his business acumen and honesty as invaluable assets to the company.
